Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine

On November 28, 2022, together with the public organization “People’s Self-Defense of Lviv Region” and with the support of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Slovenia, and the Embassy of Ukraine in Slovenia, we launched the delivery of 300,000 CP-5 gas masks (personal protective equipment) to Ukraine via road and rail transport.


The donor representing the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories (KMFAP) was the Slovenian company IZOP-K d.o.o. Its founder, Mr. Marjan Molek, also serves as Deputy Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Cooperation of the Order.
On December 19, 2022, twenty-three 40-foot containers arrived at Chop railway station in Ukraine’s Lviv Railway region. After customs clearance, the shipment was transported to Lviv for distribution among local communities and institutions across Ukraine.
